How it started...


Idalia's journey is a true testament to the power of determination and passion. Leaving her hometown in Mexico for a better life for her and her children in the US, she found solace in her love for cooking. She began by selling fire-wood grilled chicken from her home kitchen to those around her, always with a smile on her face. Her food was so delicious that it wasn't long before she decided to take a leap of faith and start her own restaurant. Eight years ago, she opened La Casa del Pollo Loco in a small location, with just five items on the menu. But word quickly spread about the mouth-watering flavors and warm ambiance of her little restaurant, and soon the community fell in love with Idalia's food and her spirit. Today, La Casa del Pollo Loco continues to thrive, thanks to Idalia's unwavering passion and the support of her beloved patrons.
